• I cannot speak Chinese. Is that a problem?
No, it is not a problem. Of course, there will be some language barriers to cross when you arrive in China, but you can teach here without knowing how to speak Chinese. All of our staff speak English to some extent, so you will be able to communicate with your colleagues. Students who come to learn expect to be immersed in English, so speaking Chinese is actually discouraged at the school. There is always a Chinese teaching assistant to help with giving instructions and translating if need be for younger students.
